The founder spent over a decade as a firefighter & paramedic. Now he's converted a decommissioned ambulance into a solar powered rolling recording studio – soundproofed, lit, and climate-controlled. Walk out of your office or home, step into the YapUnit, and record.

Questions Operators Ask
Where do you set up?
Your office, home, gym, garden, event, Zilker– anywhere in the Austin metro with a parking space – literally.
What do I need to prepare?
Whatever you want to talk about. You can be the guest or the host of the show. You can read from a teleprompter or just yap. Gear, lighting, sound, and production are on us.
How fast do I get content?
Raw footage the same day. Edited episodes and short form content inside 72 hours. All delivered via a cloud based service.
Can we record inside the ambulance?
Soon. I'm still working on building the studio in the back, but it's expected to be completed by the end of August 2026. There will be space for up to 2 people.
Do we have to record inside the ambulance?
Nope. We can setup and record anywhere. So if you want to show off your business or record inside an event we can do that as well.
Is there wifi in the Yap Unit?
Not at this time. If you need a data connection it will need to be via the location site, or mobile data. We do not have connectivity.
